Ram Narasimhan is a Principal Data Scientist at GE

Ram’s interests are in increased utilization of resources and assets of all types for any business. He works as a data scientist in GE Vernova on failure prediction models, scheduling, and job assignment problems in several verticals. Before joining GE, he worked on various mathematical optimization & logistics problems, including several years at United Airlines in Chicago. He has a Master’s in Industrial Engineering & a doctoral degree in Operations Research from SUNY Buffalo. He also teaches data analysis and data science techniques (using Python) to students and to professionals.
