What has been the experience of gifted students with respect to learning- in schools, on their own, through out-of-school experiences and gifted programs? What challenges did they face and how did they overcome them? What do they feel about the kind of support they need from families and others?
In this session, 2 young adults and 1 teenager will share their thoughts in conversation with Vishnu Agnihotri, co-founder, GenWise. The 3 students are-
- Asher Kaul, currently studying law in King's College, London, who attended the ASSET Summer Program in 2017 and the GenWise Summer Program in 2018
- Charu Hari, currently studying science at Azim Premji University, who attended the ASSET Summer Program in 2017 and the GenWise Summer Program in 2018, and other GenWise programs
- Rutuja Gupte, currently studying Genetics and Genomics at the University of Wisconsin at Madison, who attended the ASSET Summer Program in 2017 and in 2018
- Sinan Mohammad Ibrahim, currently in Grade 10 at Mallya Aditi International School, Bengaluru, who has attended the Gifted Summer Program by GenWise in 2019, 2022 and 2023
